HI All I must be the most unlucky beoport owner in the world... I posted a link recently re DAC/ BEOPORT/ MAC issues. The issue wasdreadful crackling when playing NRADIO and some NMUSIC. Spent hundreds of dollars on cables trying to fix the problem. Anyway, got some very good advice from 'Sound Devices' in Sussex St, Sydney. The advice was.

Olli, Thanks for your reply. I should correct myself, the connection from the DAC to the BeoPort is RCA (unbalanced output) converted to 1/4 inch jack input on the BeoPort. The only two inputs on the BeoPort are 1/4 inch jack and USB. Can you suggest any other type of connection? David.

Hi I have the same issue. I bought a nice beolit 600 off ebay from a guy in Odense, Denmark. The speaker has the same problem- is the magnet appears stuck. As a result the radio sounds very tinny. A year has gone by, with promises to send me a new speaker. A dozen or so emails later still nothing. Be wary of ebay I'd say. I might try beocentral

Hello I recently purchased a beautiful white beogram 7000 turntable (thank you Lee & Matt). It has a MMC 2 stylus- the orginal. I had it checked recently the tip is in good condition. I note recent posts though about degradation of the inards (a technical term Im sure!!!!) of the cartridge.. I must say when I played the turntable thought the sound
