The intrinsic superiority (or otherwise) of valve amps is a debate that mirrors the CD vs Vinyl one - you may never get a consensus! That said we are not talking about a high-end purchase here, I think you buy a Fatman for the fun of it not to get the ultimate audiophile system. Valve amps tend to have a warmer sound and (I a guessing) that would be

Im have been in IT for 20 years so I can tell that people aren't agreeing because they are arguing different points! PC rules the roost iin business as it's the industry standard, the machines are cheap as chips these days and the range of sotware available is unrivalled. The only exception being in the 'creative' field where MACs still

It would be a disaster! If Apple did buy B&O, B&O would become a 'boutique' brand within the Apple portfolio but it is inlikely that it would retain it's independence. My old 2GB iPod Nano with the upside down fuzzy screen is still serving me well.I would probably just spend the extra $200 bucks and buy a new Mac Mini.
It would make no sense at all to use the iPad as
but I dont understand the screen format?? 4:3? it´s not widescreen 16:9!!!
I am hoping it has suitable video outputs, watching a movie on a ten-inch screen doesn't sound very appealing in widescreen or 4:3! Simon

Assuming that most pople wil not be using the iPad for bulk storage the built in memory seems perfectly adequate. At this price you could achieve multi-room by having an iPad in each room connected to multi-terrabyte NAS solution for less than the cost of a single Beomaster 5/Beoound 5 combo. Simon
