  • Re: Faulty B&O. Is it a reliable product?

    Dude1: Just a quick help with a few of your issues, which look like most have been resolved. BS3 - This was found to have an issue with humidity in OZ / Asia. The top pad has now been redesigned so should be fine. The ones they are selling again in Oz / Asia are the new version. BC2 - You may have had a software issue. These have been common. Bang HO

  • Re: Opening a Bno Shop

    Dude1: That would be telling... I would just say, they are looking at a better overall structure. They also have some pretty exciting new products coming up.... There isn't much of a difference they can make to their existing structure! Retails is about buying and selling products! You need some knowledge of what you are selling and do it online

    Jandyt: tom: Has any Beoworlder won something so far? Tom, my spanish is not very good, but I believe one of our spanish members won a visit to Struer! However, she appears to have joined Beoworld after she won Andy T. Andy, you never cease to amaze me! You don't speak Spanish yet you obviously spend considerable time looking through their forums

    Dave: Why o why did they not offer Beolab 5's, they are worth exactly the same... How many people can fit a pair of Lab 5s in their living room? A TV is probably a safer bet!

  • Re: Does anybody know why B&O has got such a bad name ?

    It's human nature to be critical and to envy personal or commercial success. B&O is vulnerable to this simply because it is so good in so many areas. This has happened not by chance but by hard work over a long period of time with a talented and committed workforce throughout. B&O has a rich history and as such provides not just a product

  • Re: Faulty B&O. Is it a reliable product?

    Its very encouraging to hear that the Sydney dealership have looked after you so well. Write off what has happened as a one off because you have been extremely unlucky. This is not at all typical of B&O you can be assured of that. There are many things that make them stand out as a company; excellent build quality, reliability, top quality control;

  • Re: Opening a Bno Shop

    I wouldn't do it. Too much risk involved and not enough products in the range to make it worthwhile these days. Only a small percentage of products keep the range alive. While most major cities in Europe, not just the UK have a B&O franchise (apart from 1 that isn't franchised), you are now also competing against a number of growing AV shops

  • Re: Beolab 5 Christmas Gifts

    bangandolufsen: For those of you that got Beolab 5's to upgrade your speakers, you have warranty for three years. Bang and Olufsen had some great deals this Christmas and B&O appreciates your business. If you got any cheaper gifts such as the Beolab 8000's, you may want to return them and upgrade to Beolab 5's. The Beolab 5's are

    I have deleted the automatic email they send out but I seem to be remember something that mentioned people have up to Jan 7th to do the competition. This is based on the fact that to win the grand prize (BV7-40) you have to have answered every single question for each day of the month up to and including the last day. Extending the comp till the 7th

  • Re: Beosound 3000 with small clamper

    Towards the end of the 90s. In fact the BeoCenter 2300 which I owned for several years stopped around 1999/2000. There was a BeoSystem 2500 as well which was earlier. I prefer the earlier models for this very reason. I traded my 2300 in against a new 9000 recently and the shop sold it on the same day! Obviously still very sought after. Someone did tell
