In many cases, it's probably better having two turntables for use with good, and lower, quality music. I feel awful for typing that, as it implies it's all about how able you are to afford a decent playing system. As it is, I stocked up on styluses (or stylii) a while back so it's a few year before I get that humdinger of a bill through

As to the question of why, it's simply the concurrent sharig of sales stories. Generally, you speak tot eh broad range of people from those that are TV orientated, to those of just sound, and those with digital. I expect that whatever the activity, it works as a sales tool, as long as the Beo Buyers do indeed turn up. I always liked when Durham

A14BEO: London and New York are CITIES, before anyone gets cocky!!! Well, I tend do say I'm from Clerkenwell which, assides from being quite trendy, is akin to a village within London. I suspect the same could be said about Greenwich or The Village in New York

jandyt: Fascinating statiatics! Just wish everyone would put their location on their avatar. It also makes you realise how many members out there are reading and not posting! Andy T. Well, I'm sure that B&O generally means large disposable income which means income after tax. I'm actually suprised we don't have many more from Switzerland

As someone who analyses data for a living, I'm glad to see that it fits perfectly into a pareto spread (wikipedia it on the net those not in the know).

Sorry, I disagree; I think the simplistic design is perfect for an SD player. Unless you have a hard drive with thousands of different genres, you don't need a screen or any of that stuff. It sounds like you've maybe just deleted the tracklisting file. Your options would be to: 1) Delete the music and add music to it through the gorgeoous BeoPlayer

I would kill to own a Pontiac Firebird. Preferably an 84 model. The worst bit is that in another year or so, I'll be able to afford one, but I won't be able to afford to park it anywhere in central London. When it happens though, the weekend plan is to drive to France for some cases of Coors beer (*very* loosely recreating the idea of Smokey

I happen to own a lot of video cassettes. By a lot, I really mean more films than I could afford to buy on DVD any time soon. I picked up dozens when stores started selling VHS tapes for £1 each to clear stocks. I currently play my media through a Bush DVHS1, a combination dvd and vhs player and a brilliantly good unit. Unfortunately, it has three

One word: simplicity. B&O works because the design is simple, but the dimentions are perfect, the materials are brilliant, and the build is second to none. you can't sdesign something to be cool. You either have a decent designer with a knack for it or you don't

I would have said use expanding foam, then use a craft knife to cut it smooth with the wall, then paint it, although that's not a bad idea using a plastic plate. I've likewise been thinking of cutting a hole in the wall to stick speakers elsewhere.
