• Re: Penta High End! A project

I like a project like this, the Penta is really a fantastic speaker and these suggested improvements are really something you can hear. I have a suggestion to take the upgrading even further. Coating the cones of the speakers will have a good effect on the sound. Also the individual speaker will perform a wider frequency response, leading to a total

The Beogram 3000 / Thorens TD 124 MKII was released in 1968 and was only sold about one year. At the same time the Beogram 3000 with the Dutch Acustical record deck was produced for the Dutch, Swedish
Frede That's a great idea to keep them as original as possible. with the sockets. Remember you can get the 3mm LED's, which will fit in those sockets quite nicely, once you have removed the original incandescent lamp. I'd also hazard a guess that you could fit the 5mm LED's in there, if you filed off

  • Vintage B&O tonearm

I am looking for this vintage B&O tonearm. I think it was produced in the early sixties. The headshell is perhaps the most rare part. Please send me a PM if you have one of these and if you would like to sell it. Perhaps you know anyone who own the tonearm? I am looking forward to find this tonearm, I hope for the best /Frede

Hi Menahem I have found the E10 type of LED as you see on the photo above, this lamp I can only find in the 4 std colors plus white. Have found other suppliers of the E10 socket? Perhaps you know of a supplier who deliver to a more atractive price? I am paying between €3 ->€7 right now. The reason I will use the original socket (E10) is

I very fine job he did IMO, but I think the 9000 is the only one JJ did all by himself, but someone correct me if I am wrong. best regards Christian
The 9500 was actually designed by Timerthy Jensen (Mr. Jacob Jensen's

  • Never change lamps again

In a lot of the classic B&O products many users know about lamps burning out and the life of a new lamp is sadly also short. For some of these lamps we now have a solution. This is lamps with the E10 socket. These are used in products of the periode from mid. 196x's like Beomaster 900 - Beomaster 1000 - Beolab / Beomster 5000. You have to change

I have to mention the Beolab 5000 of 1967 (of course) This product is for me so amazing designed and knowing the story behind the concept (from the B&O book's) this product was really a break thrue for B&O and the future use of designers. One product in particular - Beovox 2500 Cube - is for me so beautifull designed /Frede
