I'm definitely not very much on the new digital technologies (owner of 6 Beograms and 4 pre 80's Beomasters) but certainly the design of BS5 captured my attention. Will wait until I get it in my hands before making any definitive judgement but the looks and the spirit are there.
-
I agree completely; To me going from BS3000 to BS4 is a jump backwards in all senses, style, materials, DAC converter, elegance. Wait until BS5 arrives or switch to BS9000, a cult player no daoubt about it. Good luck.

I'm ready to get something on behalf of glorious Spain..

No problem Lee. I'm sure you won't need much help to sell it.
-
Have you got resellers Lee? Looks like somebody is offering your beautiful BL2.
-
Used BL5's, if they have been lovingly cared for. At 6,000 pound, you'll have to check very carefully as it's a hard to believe bargain. I own a pair of BL9's, but that's a different story.
-
I bought them for their sound but now I'm really pleased with their looks. I fully agree the 5's are just much better but they cost twice as much as well. I can tell you that BL9's design will grow on you while sound satisfaction is guaranteed from the first minute. No doubt about it.

I'm delighted of reading this. Tim is an great person and one of the most knowledglable B&O individuals. I've got a Beomaster 4400 from him and can't be happier. I even listen to it more than to my Beosound 9000. I'll grab one of the first copies for sure.

I believe the frets cost 100€ per loudspeaker.

Peter : I note that there are some M75s for sale - a bit smaller than M100s and wonderful speaker. I may be interested Peter. Who is selling those speakers?
