If you've been moving the 9500 around please be aware that the glass panels are likely becoming unglued. The adhesive that holds them in place fails over time. The panels can fall out and shatter. Just be careful in both your diagnostic and transportation of this beautiful piece! Derek

Ivor: Do a search on Ebay for CDM 12. You will find entire mechanisms with the turntable and slide motor for around $20 bucks. These would be the "composite body" version of the CDM-12 but the parts are the same. Just buy the whole thing. While you are at it you can also replace the motors. Derek
