Not very close - In Newcastle - but I will stand by what I say. I would put it on eBay and if it doesn't get to £50 with a decent advert, I'll buy it. It will need posting though! (I'd pay that as well obviously!!)

Try Go and then the Yellow button. Works on mine.

The B&O reel itself would be worth a fair bit!! I would put on eBay, with some good pictures - the more the merrier, and some decent copy explaining how this is a high end domestic reel to reel player. It rather depends on the context. When the BS10 was released, it was ridiculously expensive and massively under specified compared the competition. Not to have Dolby at that time was the preserve of the worst boom boxes selling for next to nothing. The Beolit range was expensive but were at the top of radio performance - indeed their tone and sound

Used HD600s with and without an amplifier (Music Fidelity X-can V3). Not a lot of difference! The HD600s are superb - not quite as good at the very top end compared to the Grado RS-1 but I think the bass is better and you can use them in bed! (You cannot lie on your side with the Grados as the cans have a design which means that resting against anything
