I have two avant dvd 28 - one with sky hd and one with bt vision. Both connected with a decent scart. The picture is better (in all respects other than size) than ANY panel TV in the houses of friends / relatives. one is stand alone, the other has lab6000/4000 for dss. the sound on both is also better than any other i hear in local systems. Being ex

Tony Steve makes superb cables -- and the dealer supplied coupler will also work. However, there is no reason for you to buy these. You can easily, quickly and safely splice a length of cable in, with no loss of fidelity or functionality. There is sheidling to be aware of - but you can keep the join to a few mm if you are neat - and this is no more

Got a you tube playlist on the go...sounding fine through LAb 4000 / lab 6000 / Lab2000 all round the house. Superb artists deserve Beolabs, nothing less !! I need a fix of Rory GAllagher now and then....one of the true greats. Music for the soul, imo. Feeling quite ill at the moments, so this is just the job.

In another hobby of mine, there is a well known "condition" called G.A.S ...this is Guitar Aquisition Syndrome. Rather like seeing a Beothingy on ebay, or ar a boot dale or Second hand shop..... many many people see a nice old XXXX guitar, and they simply can't walk away ( or resist the click of the mouse), Like B&O, if you get the
DJ,I agree with you. My large system is setup with 4 three-way main loud speakers. I have to say - the soundstage/image is absolutely incredible. I would suggest to anyone with an extra pair of speakers do this.My new favorite entertainment is watching concerts on DVD, I feel like I'm there.
yep - nothing beats

"Daisy chain" them as secondary left and right speakers alongside the lab8000's ...you may be pleasantly surprised.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I´m not sure why a "daisy chain" would benefit the sound. Sounds awkward to hear e.g. a door squeaking

We have similar layout, with other kit. Had Lab 40000 up where the lab 3 is in the picture..as L&R speakers...... so when we got some lab 6000, initially they went on the floor either side of the TV...with a view to moving the "rears" from the top left & right corners. Never bothered - it sounds great - the rear channel for films is

yep - MK1 Lab 4000 is phono to phono - easy !! Mk2 is phono to powerlink. The speakers will come in and out of standby as they need to - they "see" a signal and turn on...works fine. Bear in mind you need one sonos item hard wired to your router - which can be a zone bridge if nothing else needed in that room.

that looks a bit iffy to me.....
