The BS1 only has VGA out, not component. It has one component input

Or you could use a single Beolab 3. In one of my setups, I have a pair of BL 3's as the center. I know...not recommended....but it works great for me.

I recently asked this question to Frede at Classic Audio, so I revisited this thread. He states the Beolab is designed to be on the bottom, and that there is proper ventilation for this. If you look on the back of the Beomaster there are is a cutout in the back to allow for the ventilation. Also, he mentions that in the manual where it says "do

I just got a Sonos Ipod dock and it is very cool. I can browse songs on my ipod from the Sonos controller, and play those songs in any zone.

Dave, You will love your restoration if you are doing this through Frede. He is a true artist. Thanks for the note about the Beolab/Beomaster stacking debate. I had seen that on another thread and hadn't acted on it yet.

Here's a picture of a Frede-restored Beloab 5000 (not so rare) and a very-rare Stereo-width box on the right. Also is my fully restored Beloit 1000 with a somewhat rare Beopower converter.

You can control the volume from any of your sonos devices with the sonos remote or the iphone/ipad app. You set the volume on your B&O device, and then move it up or down from there with the Sonos. For example, I have my sonos plugged into the AUX on my BC9500, one to a BS1, etc. I just set the volume to a medium and then go up/down from there.
