I would use CAT7 cables with RJ45 wall sockets instead of Masterlink. This enables you to use cables also for future Beonet. From the RJ45 sockets you can connect to ML sockets of your devices using special cables that your dealer should be able to deliver. I have this setup at home and it works perfectly.

Or go for an AirPort Express and use AirPlay for wireless streaming the iPod sound to the BS1. Alternatively you can use an Apple Dock and connect to BS1 - much better than a direct cable to the BS1.
