Do you mean D25TG-05's? I had those in my Beovox S80.2's. These would be Vifa's newest version of them. I think the D25 were a coated silk dome, and the D26's were a coated fabric of a different type. It's possible that it's the driver itself. Do you have a multimeter? If you measure the DC resistance of the driver, it should give you a reading. If it doesn't, then the voice coil is an open circuit, and is blown. If it is the tweeter, you can probably source a suitably close replacement from a speaker distributor like Madisound. Did he replace the capacitors in the crossovers, or do you mean that he tossed the original crossovers completely, and stuck in some off-the-shelf units? The latter would not be good, as they wouldn't replicate the proper transfer functions. You'd have many phase anomolies and frequency response irregularities. Jon
