Thanks Stefan! But shouldn't in my case BM3500 be set to OPT 0 (no IR reception, according to beotech)? All it has to do is amplify. Radio and CD functions will be carried out by BS9000. BS9000 therefore should then be the IR receiving unit, OPT 2, sending through masterlink a signal that turns on or off the AUX input of BM3500 when BS9000 turns

Ok, thanks Peter! Friend of mine has a great sounding setup of BM6000+RL60 with BS9000. Only problem is (bit of a luxury problem, of course ) the BM6000 still has to be turned on and off by hand. As far as I know, only solution to this is (expensive) beolab speakers or a (expensive too) Beolink Passive amp. I have a BM3500, thought maybe by connecting

Quick question: is it possible to use beomaster 3500 as an amplifier for beosound 9000, through for example the AUX input, with the beomaster turning on and off along with the beosound 9000 through the link connection? I checked out the beotech section but I couldn't really figure it out. If it works, a MCL converter is probably required
