But........... as warned in the first entry of this thread, you do need to keep using your refresh or reload button. Clicking links in the forum can just bring up the last cached version of the page and will fail to show subsequent posts until you refresh the forum page or just routinely hit refresh when you get to the end of a thread (when you will

Hi KingofSnake! Yes, as reported in another thread, the seller did respond very convincingly to my queries (and got my sale/ purchase because of that). The service counter shows that the TV has hardly been use at all in its 4 year life. Unfortunately I could not have anticipated the future need to raise with him an option setting issue that he would

Dave, Not sure I can help other than to say my BC1 came from a linked system and as you can see on the two threads on this topic my radio was disabled apparently by Option 1 being set in the video options. In the connections menu under Beolink the external radio option was set to 'Yes'. As I don't know exactly what the previous owner had

Peter, Many thanks. Problem instantly solved and the radio works! Choosing option2 in the video options not exactly obvious to the uninitiated!!!!!! Vikinguk

Second posting on my recently acquired Beocenter 1. TV was previously part of a linked system with separate audio and Beo 6 LCD TV. The previous owner unfortunately doesn't know enough about how it was all set up (before he removed it all from his apartment and put it into storage.) There is no FM radio on the BC1 but the menus show it was linked

Another analogy

Peter, I will try this approach as a last resort because I have a fear of accidentally messing-up other settings via the service menu. Does anyone else have any ideas? If a BC1 was part of a linked system with a radio source via Beolink can the original dealer (setting up the system) either remove the BC1 radio module or disable it so that the radio

Having trawled through the service manual I have considered that the option to reset the TV to its original defaults would wipe out all the current tuning and presumably cause the TV to retune afresh next time it's used, including the radio. As the BC1 autotunes only when first set-up (and hopefully after a reset to default), is it possible that

Have recently acquired a Beocenter 1 with Masterlink and STB modules. The previous owner had used the TV as part of a Beolinked system. I can't get the BC1 radio to come on. In the comnection menu, the Beolink showed an external radio link which I have set to 'No' (it was originally set to Yes) but this has made no difference. All the manual
