Have a look at the Beosound 5, it will be released in spring but is available to see in store. It's got a bit hard drive and can store songs and videos (but you have to transfer them from your PC). The videos would play on your TV, not on the interface itself. It plays internet radios as well. It does not play CDs and FM radios, as it is entirely

I wonder if the font has changed as well... When launching the Beosound 5 the designer said to Lee that they now have a new font that they have used for the Beosound 5 interface, and that they will use it everywhere. As the Beosound 5 screen is also white on black, maybe they want to unify. p.

Stefan, the first affirmation is true, not the second. A BL 5000 set to 1 Way would work like a Beolink 1000 and would control any hifi (that is Beolink 1000 or Beo4 compatible) whether it is 1 way or 2 way. p.

Was there a 1 way version? Also the remote would display NO CONTACT when pressing CD and the hifi would not respond if the remote was set in 2 way and the hifi was 1 way. Make sure the TV and Hifi have the right option settings as well. Audio 1 and Video 1 or Audio 0 and Video 2. If you have Audio 1 and Video 2, you might get a conflict. p.

Your remote is still set in 1 way, at least for the Audio side, otherwise it would display CD 1. If the remote was set in 2 way and the Beosound was not responding it would display NO CONTACT.

Thanks B&O for that!!! It makes the TV so much better.

Make sure the remote itself is in 2 way mode. When you press CD, do you get "CD 1" on the screen, or just "CD". p.

C'est pour ceux qui ont l'ancien modèle...
