  • Infra-Red interference from Plasma screens

Bayerische you have previously said: Keith Saunders: With regards to the Plasma radiation issue highlight which limits or stops some IR transmissions, this is not related to the Beo5, but is a general problem for which there are several solutions. I will highlight this further in another thread. Keith, that's another huge problem I would like to

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

There appears to be some confusion about the ability of 3rd party products to be controlled by the Beo5. The Beo5 can control ANY, yes I mean any 3rd party product which uses an Infra-red remote control. To be able to configure a third party product using the B&O Beo5 Configuration tool you need to first produce an XML file which contains all the

The Beo4 is simpler and requires less button pushes than the Beo5. The Beo5 really needs something to lift it to the price charged for it. At the moment it simply is a remote with a few pretty

  • Re: Config Tool

You can't "upload" from the Beo5.. The Beo5 Configuration Tool saves the configuration you created to an XML file in a directory and the name of the directory is the serial number of your Beo5. During the serialisation process a HEX file is created which will be downloaded into the Beo5's memory and used. There is no facility to upload
  • Re: Beo 5: Battery life?

Leaving the Beo5 on the table charger when not in use is not a problem and it has been designed to do just that. It is certainly not unsafe leaving it on the charger, in fact the Beo5 software actually monitors the charging of the battery and when the battery is fully charged there will be no current to speak of flowing. If you wife is not concern about
