Have you considered BeoLab 3s? I personally find them to be quite a leap ahead of the BeoLab 8000 sonically, and they're much smaller! If not, then yes it is possible to connect a power amp to your Avant, but you *may* get a pop when switching the Avant on and off.

A little crude, but you could always just set the position switches in the rear speakers to 'free'. This should boost the bass - assuming you haven't done this already...

I don't think there is a way of doing this sadly. The 'bass' control may help things a little though...

As far as the BeoSystem/BeoVision setup is concerned, the BeoLab 5s are just another pair of speakers, except they can go much deeper than other speakers. There is no 'subwoofer' when using a pair of BeoLab 5s...

I don't know - sorry. Maybe worth asking your dealer if they can multi-region your DVD player for you though. I'd imagine they will want to come round and do it themselves...

When you say multi-regional, do you mean one which sends out the correct messages to make a B&O DVD player multi-region?
