moxxey: I want a visual representation when I'm changing the volume There was on the one I used. There was a blue bar (on the screen) which moved around the outside of the wheel as you changed the volume. Craig

When I had a Beosound 2, I still managed to use it with Vista. Although I have to admit I never used the B&O sofware. Just did it without, by copying what I wanted to the memory card. Then I would leave it on the Docking Station for a short while. Everything worked perfecly as far as I could tell. Craig

That is a Beocord 2000, and I would guess the belt has stretched. Every one I have had has had the same problem. One of our members Martin (Dillen) can supply the belts for these. Drop him a PM and he will give you a price and how to pay. Should take about 10-15 mins to fix. Craig

Also worth checking your speaker connections too. If you have any loose strands of wire causing a short, the protection will also cut in. Craig

Hello Andrew and welcome to Beoworld. Which model Beocord is it? If the large belt has come of then it may have stretched with age. Stripped down one that had done this myself only last night. Craig

Friedmett: Recorded straight to portable DAT back in 2003-2004. Never really took off did it DAT. Although IMO it was a very good idea. Even remember a friend of mine buying one, as he had been using DAT for some time at work. Think it was made by Philips iirc. Craig
