The mini and BL5 are working great together, however I expect the sync cable is broken. Been running the mini in iTunes and DVD on a piggyback ride using the BS9000 to keep the Beolabs alive and controlled. Hoping to get a solution for the sync cable tomorrow... BTW I got the DVD fixed in the mini, and I'm now able to use the Beolab5's as speakers

To the point... Where can I get those miniature BEOLAB 5's? ?! Wasn't that was this was about?

BTW will the BS9000 be discontinued after these 1500 in white? There was some rumors about that...

The price was quoted at 4300 euro in a HiFi magazine in Finland about a month and a half ago. I didn't think of asking the price when my dealer demoed me the BS5 earlier this week... But compared to for example the Naim HDX the BS5 isn't that bad, HDX is 6350 euros. And apparently not that good.

Hey guys, As many of you already know, I got a mac mini as a media server (music). I have been haunted during my setup last night by a bad sync cable, and therefore I've been forced to use my BS9000 as a "control" module in running the Beolab 5's from the mac mini... I think the sync cable is broken, at one end it was possible to open up the miniplug and I checked the cables/connections and everything seemed fine, the other end is plastic moulded to the connector, so it's not possible to check it, however there is a crack in the plastic/rubber insulation! If I twist the cable slightly I can see the individual

Thanks again Soundproof for helping me. I tried to find where to adjust if I want to have 2 channel output from the DVD player, but I can't find it. Is it also at the "Audio midi" control panel?
