Did you ever look to see what was involved in changing the cover?

Does B and O sell replacement frets for Beolab 1s in the burgundy color that was made from around 2000-2004? If so, any idea of the cost?

Is it possible to replace the front cover of a Beolab 7-4 and thus change the color?

RussR: Was just noodling in my head there...just wanted to remind you of the issue. Now that I lookthough, you're right that there are really 10 channels available on the 'unlabeled' PowerLink sockets, so if you're using 4 in the mail room, that leaves 6 for the second room...the subwoofer is going to be the stumbling block I suspect

I just had a look at the BS3 page on the B and O site. When the thread Trip mentions was ongoing the BS 3 page specifically said that it could be used to run two complete systems in different rooms. The text has now been changed to say two systems in one room. Wish I had an extra $7,000 to spend to try it out, I have sufficient speakers, just need a

On our BV7 we currently have the center speaker plus 4 speakers and a sub. In the on screen menu there are still 6 unused speaker assignments. Wouldn't it then be possible to have a full five speakers with a second panel? There does not however seem to be a way to connect a second sub for the second panel as subwoofer does not seem to be an option
