What others do you think you should have?

Hate to disagree with Peter but I have never seen MK1 with green display. My examples have all had Amber. The only green ones are the MK3 I would also replace the midranges. They cost less than £20 each and will save all that crap and glue and stuff!!

Decoder is no good as a setup option. The sky box is not a decoder although I've never managed to work out just what a decoder is!! If you dont get SAT as a setup option then just set it up as vtape since most people do not have videos nowadays.

Both available as spares from B&O when I last ordered some (2 years or so ago). Fiddly but not technically dificult job to do. Download the service manual first.

That's just what I would expect a standard MX7000 to do. It won't switch your sky box on unless you have a STB controller fitted and I would be surprised indeed if it did. You will need to use the Sky remote to control the sky box. From memory (!) you will need to set AV2 to Sat, then connect your sky box to AV2 with the scart cable. Now turn

Suggest that he puts it on eBay then you can both see what it's worth. I wouldn't give him £50 for the whole lot and I suspect that's about what ebay will say as well. None of it is desireable except of course by him and you!

The fault you describe here is typical of arm servo failure. In my experience it has always been either bulb or photo-resistor failure but it could be a simple rubber drive band.

There is nothing wrong with our downloads - I just tried it and it works perfecly as, by the way, do the FAQ's. What type of computer and operating system are you using???
