I'm sorry Alex but this is a backward step. It takes an enormous amount of time to put a CD ..
I've found that the latest iTunes DRM-free 256Kbps tracks are superior to the quality of the audio from the same CD. I'm not going to embarrass myself by listing the CDs I've bought recently, but

I'm sure this is of no help, but you want to compare the PQ from a HD-sourced BV7-40 compared to a link room BV8. Mt BV7-40 is connected to a Sky HD box and I'm used to watching a lot of TV in HD. However, as the link room system is based on an analogue RF signal, the link room TV PQ is awful, in comparison! Now, I probably wouldn't have

Are you sure these rumours are not based on encouraging customers to purchase the product before it's gone for good? I don't want to shock you, but most dealers are just sales people and, as salesmen, want to make as much money as possible. In these difficult times (I work in the magazine industry, where advertising is down 40% and it's

How can you be annoyed by losing £300 in 5 years? If someone had said to you 5 years ago "ok, here's a BS9000, new, which you can rent from me for £5/month, over 5 years", would you have been disappointed? I doubt it. I doubt the BS9000 will be discontinued any time soon (ie. this year!). I was always under the impression it
I would expect that the current BV7 would have better picture and sound processing then the BV10 will have due to the integrated BS3 even though the BV10 will have an improved panel.
I doubt it. The BV7-40 MKIV, without DVD, will be around the same price as the BV10 (£5000-£6000). It could either

AFAIK B&O have mentioned it themselves, in a recent conference. Plus, dealers have been updated and they know the details. It's expected in Q4 though, from what I understand?

Being a lucky owner of the BL5s, BL9s and BL3s, I find that average rock/pop music sounds best through the BL3s. Indeed, I'm planning on selling the BL5s as I just can't make the most of them (with my music or apartment). I'm planning on using another set of BL3s in their place. BL3s are more than enough for most people, unless you need
But cant we over pay on purpose? I.E. £4000 / 12 = £334 per month?
It's within the credit companies interest to 'encourage' people to get in to the interest zone. They don't want to give everyone free credit! So, the payments over the interest free period are fairly limited and fixed
-
Moxxey, I like interest free payments because if they can be sorted by direct debit, they limit me buying stuff.
Yeah, but the amount you pay back during this period is limited. The key part is the lump sum at the end. That can come as a shock. For example, £4000 of credit may leave you with over £3000

As I said, it's completely resolved any outstanding issues, including the link room problems. All fine now.
