Finally a B&O reviewer that knows what he is talking about!
Bit gushing for me - I found this a few days ago as it is being touted by B&O as the review to read. (Not surprisingly!) I actually agree with it - the picture, in which the reviewer is clearly an expert, is truly great. I like it more and

The AV9000 has powerlink outputs - a MCL2P would act as a reasonable power amplifier for passive speakers - you would need one for the front speakers and one for the rears. To be fair, almost any power amplifier will do but you will then have to be clever with the wiring.
-
The head units are all the same - Type 2802. The Avant is what I used to use mine with - not ideal as you have to name the BC2 as a V.Tape! The Avant (or at least mine!) had no facility for DVD2. Still works though and by getting the DVD enabled type, it will play DVDs if you change the TV.
-
Look for one with audible feedback from the keys - I think all the audio models have this but check. I would however get the DVD model - the head unit is the same so all you are doing is not using some features. Very happy with mine. I do sometimes hanker after a BS9000 simply for the multi disc ability but now I have my music controlled by iPhone,

All you need is a MCL/ML converter - you need a spur from the BV9/BS3200 and the MCL cables will then go to the other speakers. Actually very similar to the system I have. Not sure what the box in the attic is - probably a beolink converter which converts Audio Aux to ML.
-
Not surprised! The Beomaster 7000 does not have a sensor socket - it was deleted from the Beomaster 5500. You will need to hard wire it in - I am afraid I cannot find the instructions for this.
-
We need a little more information. The 3200 is clearly connected to the BV9 via masterlink. What speakers do you have in the dining room and kitchen and how are they connected at present? If active speakers, they should have a beolink Active box and if passive, a beolink Passive box. If they are a 3500 or 2000, you should just need a ML connection.
-
Surely this is all a bit artificial anyway! The BV10 is clearly mainly made by Samsung, the amplifiers are not ICE items - I would guess the aluminium surround is made in Denmark but that would be about it. Does this put me off the set - not at all! The car audio is almost all outsourced except for the snazzy aluminium trim.
-
Critical bunch! If you like them, well done!

The green light means the timer is active. You need to change the option on the BS3000 using the remote - you cannot do it on the BS3000 by itself. At present, the 3000 infra red receiver is turned off as it was accepting the signals via your TV. With the TV not there, you need to turn it back on - hence the instructions above.
