I agree with you. When we first purchased our BV7 and a Blu-ray player we purchased Blu-rays that were duplicates of DVDs we already had. The sound difference is amazing. I share your question. We previously had Beolab 9s connected to an Avant and a Velodyne sub connected directly to the Avant. It seemed to me that turning the sub away directed too much bass away from the 9s. I only wanted the sub to play the very lowest frequencies that the 9 could not reach. Sometimes when I receive pictures that others send me I can not view them. I receive a message that says unsupported format. The images I can not view appear to be jpg. Is this normal and/or is there a way to view the pictures? Also, when retrieving emails my Serene will only retrieve 9 at a time, never more. Is that normal? Thanks!

If the BV7 is placed on the motorized table stand, without a speaker, will there be mounting points for the speaker visible such that it will not look good? Also, how does the price of the motorized table stand compare to the motorized floor stand?
