I had this problem a while ago, and I plugged it into a different USB port and then it worked... try to avoid going through a HUB.

With B&O the amplifiers are in the speakers, so it is likely to be these which will make the most difference in term of sound quality. Olof: and can you hear a difference if you use it with BeoLab 3 speakers comparing to mp3 with 320kbit/s ? Use a lossless compression algorythm if you want to be sure not to lose any quality. p.
