I don't think these formats can be "enabled" from any service menu - you'll need to install suitable codecs to be able to play these formats. I did post Here with details of a codec that allowed me to play ALAC via Windows Media Player (on which Beoplayer is based) although I have no way of trying it on a BM5. Someone who doesn't

Have you had any feedback from B&O themselves? If this is true it beggars belief! How on earth can they justify releasing a very expensive new product onto the market while still trying to get it to operate to an acceptable standard? Solution offered - spend another $8000(Aus)............incredible! At the very least I would demand my warranty period

Moxxey - can't you do the same and get one on demo so you can compare directly? I don't see any point in relying on other folks ears, it's yours that will have to listen to it ultimately - if you're happy with it then that's all that should count.
