I did not realise these these remotes worked on the B&O frequency. Is there a specific model or do they all work this way? Is ther a list of commands they can send? Thanks beoaus
I had a Logitech in a non B&o "media" room. I always thought the same thing -that they couldn't handle B&o

One big thing to consider with Logitech is the brilliant online configuration! It takes a little bit of time to get used to the navigation, but you can do just about anything you want with their remotes. If B&o had done this for the Beo5... I would have bought one... and they probably would have sold a great deal more of them!

Sounds like you guys pretty much have it! Cliff notes: Power everything off SPK2 -> 3 pin din -> MCL Cable -> labeled terminals Transceiver cable -> labeled terminals Connect the speakers Set the SPEAKER PROTECTION DIAL to match the wattage of the attached speakers (Go lower for VOL limiting) Power back up... have fun! This is pretty basic

Hi all, Just found this... virtual windows from a Mac. Not quite ready for prime time, but I thought it was pretty cool! Thought you might find it interesting!
-
Dan, Are you interested in the correct remote?
I know the Harmony will control all of them including the B&O, but will it also control the stand tilt and turn as we use that alot.
Yes. Though I don't have tilt on my Avant(s) -the turn works fine. I have not come across anything the Logitechs couldn't handle... to include pre-BL1000 coded Beo!

Oh Graham... It is not the mountain, but the climb! Sonk... I agree! T.W.G... You may always find someone willing to swap panels with you?
-
A shame... but, Graham is correct... we should all know better by now! Outside of this sandbox -it is a big world! If any of us want to "step out" -we know about Sound-Smith and Axel! With that said, I have sold a few carts to fellow BeoWorlders knowing they were fine. P.S. Before returning... You could try Peter's tapping technique!
