  • Re: Speaker Grills/Covers packaging

Thanks! The items were packed in large amounts of foam and were well padded. There were not any styrofoam form fitting pieces to cushion them as other items I have purchased. Each speaker was in a protective bag and then wrapped in huge amounts of a foam cloth. In other words, they were packed pretty well, but not in boxes or packaging designed specifically

The shipping labels on the boxes indicate that they were shipped from Bang and Olufsen in the Czech Republic to our dealer.

  • Speaker Grills/Covers packaging

We recently decided to change the color of our Beolab 9s and Beolab 7-4 and thus ordered new covers for the 9s and a new front piece for the 7-4 from B and O. Upon receiving all three items I was surprised to find they were not in B and O boxes. The two covers for the 9s were packed in two seperate boxes, of different sizes and wrapped in phone. Similiarly

  • Re: BV7-40mk3 vs original BV9 mk1 720p

Dave: Razlaw: Dave: I have a thing against wires showing too, they really bother me - so i would automatically go for the BV9. I strongly dislike the BV7 in the B&o range. I think technologically & price wise, it's a bit of an embarrassing product. As for technology it is the same processor as the BV9. As for price, subtract the price of

  • Re: Serene Pricing

Razlaw: mediabobny: It's $995 here. I will be at Abt today. I will see if the in store price matches the online price. When I was there two weeks ago they were offering a 12% discount. Was at Abt today. In the store, the price posted on the phone was significantly higher than on their web page, around $1275.

355f: 'This post is going the same way as the HD audio thread. Everyone 'misunderstands ' apart from you of course! Will leave you to your own interpretation of the facts razlaw. Enjoy your class leading bv7 LOL I was not interpreting facts. I was merely responding to a post in a thread entitled "BV7-40mk3 vs original BV9 mk1 720p"

moxxey: 355f: its true the kuro does not have a cheap dvd player inbuilt - must get one for $100. That's expensive. You can get one for far less than that. Razlaw - if you need those BS3 'features', fantastic. Most people do not and simply want to watch TV. Hence why they prefer a non-B&O system. LOL

355f: Razlaw: moxxey: Razlaw: As for price, subtract the price of a Beosystem 3 from the price of a BV7, then subtract the price of a high quality DVD player I don't go along with that argument. The Beosystem 3 is way overpriced. You can't really just say 'take off the price..' and then it becomes a 'bargain'. What does the Beosystem
