I'm sure B&O don't produce in china, so I am quite sure that what was offered to you was no B&O

I can only speak for the DVD-player in the BV7, but I guess that the issue is quite similar. The DVD-player in BV7 can be "dezoned" by your dealer. I don't think there is a "Region 0-Option".

There are lots of A8s around, that are made in china, but they are fake. What was it that you were "offered"?

they can be used, but as far as I know, the problem will be the navigation between the different folders that will take much more time as there can be much more folders on one SDCard. If you want to try them out, go on and do it, it sure will be an interesting experience. On BS3 and BS4, it should be ok, but on a BS2 I would stick to the max of 2GB

I think in general, aluminium is superior to plasitic in terms of built qualitiy. I doubt that there will be an audible difference in sound.
