I don`t know how they do it, but it works great. For me MOTS wasn`t the key feature to buy the BS5, but now I `m using it every day. Having also tried Genius on my mac, I deactivated it after 2 days. Stefan

My BM5 is connected to an airport station via ethernet. All computers in the house - mac minis and macbooks - are connected wireless to the airport station. BeoConnect and Beoplayer are installed on the (intel)macs. So I can use them as clients in mac- and in pc mode. I think you can connect your laptop and your BM5 to an ethernet hub....(?) Stefan

I wouldn`t go wireless with the BM5. It has a standby mode (power consumption 1.4W incl. BS5!), but this won`t work wireless. The cable you need will be delivered with the BM5. Stefan

Yes. But what you need is a HDMI switch - EXT-HDMI-441- with 4 inputs and 1 out, not the splitter. Stefan

I have a BS9000 too. So the BS5 is configured as "no audio master". That means in NMUSIC mode the sound is distributed via masterlink to my BV7 and link. I can`t use the digital output for my BL5s. Digital output is working in PC mode only. I hope, Beo is working on that too. When I listen to lossless music, I can hear no difference to CD

Congratulatuons and good luck. The BS5 customer configuration menu is: MODE - SETTINGS - right - left - right - left - GO. Stefan

Søren, sadly I must answer both questions with no. Fast forward/rewind is announced for the next update. Afaik there is no function "disable MOTS". When I select a specific track, it will be played, and the next one is "MOTS selected". Stefan

Anders, you will find user- and service manuals on the product page. Search Beosound music systems. Did you hear anything about a MK II ?? Stefan

[quote user="seanklemis"] [quote user="IngvarW"] Hello Sean, Unfortunantely I now have installed also the BS5 and then you actually cant browse via the TV in n.music. I am also travelling away for one week and my wife isn´t so superduper interested as i am. when i,m coming back i can disconnect the BS5 and try to do some different

I listened to the legendary FZ Live-Album "Roxy and elsewhere" this morning, and my BS5 did NOT play it gapless. There were small brakes and clicks clearly audible between the tracks. This album was converted to 256-AAC with itunes. Next listening was James Taylor`s Live-Album disc1. Same format, same result. Next step was to rip this album
