• Re: B&O made some promisses...and makes me angry
But this is the last thing I would like to do. I would like to have the product play gapless as B&O stands for reproducing music as it was recorded.
Oh. I was a little confused as the post gave me the impression you weren't happy and were thinking of selling it on ;) In that case, I'd do what 9LEE

In Britain we have a clause which states something has to be 'fit for purpose' and, if your dealer said that you would get gapless playback support in the next feature update - in order to make the sale - then you would be able to return the product for a full refund. ie. they sold you the product with false information. • Re: Get your BL5s set up right! 13 tips ...
s/pdif over analog... Putting a pair of BL5s inside a too small room is not recommended
Soundproof, how would I/we know if the BL5s are using s/pdif (from the Beocenter 2) rather than powerlink? Unfortunately I think I made the mistake where my source room is too small for my BL5s and possibly too populated

  • Re: Beolab 5 bass issues
It's an interesting point and a great topic because of the many variable and doubts, but Alex has never frustrated me with his posts, quite the opposite, and i kinda think that was a passive aggressive post mr. moxxey... May i add that i found it crazy reading that someone has dropped 12 thousand dollars on a pair of
..but some of their creations are seriously flawed, as you've learnt yourself...
..but you keep on buying regardless.. No point moaning, unless you're going to do something about it. I've heard Simon state he's not happy with LCD technology for over a year now (which is fair enough), but then go
From my viewpoint, the Avant 32 RF DVD set is the TV to buy until something either equal in picture quality or better comes along. I bought the 7-40 Mark III when it came out and having used it for a while now I can honestly say that I am disappointed. How B&O can charge such a high asking price for such a

  • Re: remove user name and personal details
could you please elaborate on what you mean by 'supposed' members, and also what your concerns are about the prizes getting 'less and less'. I take great pride in offering the best prizes we can afford
In all honesty, there are too many prizes - too much 'giving away' of content each month

  • Re: Beolab 5 bass issues
Why couldn't you use your BL5s with Blu-ray, Moxxey?
Two reasons: 1) BL9s are enough. Sufficient. Dark Knight (example above) is quite superb through the BL9s. 2) No room for BV7-40 + BL5s. Maybe in another place, next time Hey, I'm not over concerned about the BL5s. I'm not losing sleep over
I'd like to remind you all of the fact that movies and music cds are mastered differently
Yes, we're aware. Hence why uncompressed audio from a Blu-ray DVD source sounds outstanding!
RE the 'flatness' of some sources on BeoLab 5s such as many modern recordings
Yes, but then you do wonder why you've spent nearly £12K on a pair of speakers, when the source is to blame ;) Which is why I also say that my BL3s often seem to produce a better audio experience from modern pop/rock
