Bad news (I think) CJ. I just had a look at the Datalink system builder chart in the Jarman book. It says "Beomasters marked with X do not have a Datalink connection for a compact disc player. For these models, the Beogram CD X (also marked X ), CDX 2 or a CD 50 fitted with the IR sensor kit are recommended. Your BM 3000 is marked with an X .

CJ, is the Tape socket 7 or 5 pin DIN? Do you already have a CD3300 to try?

Hmmmm, I wasn't sure about that, so I went onto the Datalink page of Beotech to see. It would appear that the Beomaster 3000 and the Beogram CD3300 are indeed, Datalink compatible. Have a look yourself, here. Andy T.

Fairly good 'intro' product, as it can have some use to somebody who has no B&O equipment. For me, bit of an expensive luxury.

Have you thought of trying Domestos, surely cheaper than all that Tippex.
