Yes, but you cannot listen to it in the main room, only on speakers attached to the MCL2AV.

It will be fine - speaker resistance is all just an estimate anyway as it is not a set amount of ohms over the entire frequency range. The 7000 will cope perfectly well.

The BV10 is designed so it can be used as a stand alone set but with a sub-woofer. The BV11 will be the perfect match. However do have a listen for yourselves - I have a beolab 2 and it is not the bass that is the problem. And yes, I agree, it is very clear , probably more sore than the Avant. I plan to do some sort of frequency analysis if possible

My Samsung one works fine - I insisted I did not get an Amstrad as the Amstrad Sky+ box I had was appalling. Even when I was younger and Amstrad was a new firm selling Hi-Fi, Amstrad was known for having a one year guarantee - guaranteed to break in 1 year.

Tricky! I would wait for his response first as taking the grilles off may well cause some of the plastic clips to break. Essentially each grille has a number of clips on the sides which you can feel through the fabric. These are pushed in and then they unclip. Fiddly and I broke two on my Penta 3s the one time I did this! Decided not to bother again

It will be almost definite that you need new belts - martin (Dillen on site) can supply these and they come with instructions on how to fit them. The service manuals are much less helpful!
-
Actually the power levels are fine - no shortage of volume - remember that at normal listening volumes, we use less than 1 W a channel, and most of that is bass. I doubt you need more than a couple of watts for a tweeter!

The sound of the BV10 is astonishing for the thickness of the TV. It is far better than any other make of set with a similar thickness that I have heard - Samsung in particular are very poor. However I disagree with the first post - in my view the sound is nothing like that of the Avant or BV5. There is a missing chunk in what I would call the presence

I cannot think of an easy way to make this work. The BC2 does not have Datalink which is what the Beocord 5500 needs to let it work by remote. The converter converts ML to Audio Aux, but this would talk to a Beomaster or Beovision and then you have the problem of which would be the slave and how to connect speakers. I now record music and radio to HDD

I think that is rather expensive for a radial deck. If it comes with a relatively new and well specified cartridge, maybe. Otherwise I would give it a miss. That type of turntable would struggle to reach $100 in the UK.
