Congratulations! The failing mids are very common. Replacements are available new from your local B&O dealer. Re-foaming is also very popular. I'm not sure about your amp though.

Flight control is one of my favorite apps, even though I don't have a itouch/phone.

I do not have one of these machines... just some brainstorming here: I thought the "Speaker" command did change it from stereo, dolby 3, speaker 4 (front and back stereo), speaker 5 (5.1) etc. This is just what I remember from reading around. Corrections welcome. EDIT: misunderstanding
