Evan, Look at it this way... if the device is IR controllable or can be adapted to do so (PC) then the Logitech would likely be able to control it. You can check compatability HERE. I think it is pretty accurate, though I have been able to control devices not listed... a good thing. On another note... what is this system selector? Do you have an example

Welcome to BeoWorld! The least common denominator in "later" Beo is the BL1000... If it works w/ at least a BL1000... then it will work w/ any of the later remotes in some form or fashion. Cost vs. Performance... the BL1000 is gold.

I believe you could attach an external amp. 9000 -> PL -to- RCA adapter -> amp The 9000 would function as tuner/CD source to the amp. You may need to alter OPTION settings on the 9000??? Anyone else?

Welcome to BeoWorld! I would use a BeoLink Passive... Or, perhaps MCL2P and avoid the ML connection.
