Beosound 2300 is not compatible with N.MUSIC (Beolink PC2, Beomedia 1, Beomaster 5). Certain versions of Beosound 3000 and all Beosound 3200 are compatible. Neither Beosound 2300 nor Beosound 3000 have a memory for storage. Beosound 3200 has a Hard drive, but you can only rip a CD that you insert in the Hifi itself, you cannot access the HD from a computer

I have recently tried to connect a LC2 before an electrolic transformer, and I can confirm that it fried my LC2. I made it work by using another LC2, by deactivating the dimmer function.
