There's a pair of MK3's on ebay now with a Buy It Now price of £699 which is about as cheap as I've seen them. There's no indication of the condition though so you may need to ask about that. The seller is a regualr trader of B&O so they should be kosher. Chris.

Thanks Mika - yes I worked it out just after I had first posted. I thought I had set the BM to option 1 but I must have pressed the button sequence incorrectly - how embarrassing. Chris.

Michael, judging by current prices the MK3 Penta's should be worth around the same as the BL6000's if the condition is comparable. You may have to put an extra £100 - £200 towards the price. As far as I know frets are still available form your dealer but they aren't cheap, around £100 per set I believe. You can recloth

Hi Steve & welcome to Beoworld When you say the controller volume doesn't work do you mean this is a problem with the remote or the volume control on the system itself? If you mean it is a problem on the remote itself this should be fairly simple to fix depending on which remote you have. It should be either a MCP5500 or a Beolink 1000 , Chris

I don't know if this is an option problem

Does this line of argument mean you would

Wham for me too, and after they disbanded George Michael. In my defence though, he's a great song writer Chris.

When you select the format you need to press "go" to store it bfore exiting. Chris.

Thanks Spiros, but too nice for my needs, I'm really looking for a bit of a cheap/rough one - nothing particularly fancy as my preferred remote is the BL1000 but I could really do with one for intermittent uses which require the Beo4's "list" function. Chris.
