  • Re: Is BV7 Beovision sold without speaker in US?

If you have pictures uploaded to the web, to your own website, flickr or similar, then you can use the embed an image function, which you access by clicking the little tree in the menu just above your composition box when you're writing. (Some browsers don't show this menu bar. Which browser are you using? Firefox shows it.) If you want to upload

  • Re: Removing tiny scratches from Beogram 7000 dustcover

There are various "solutions." Some have had good results with brass/silver polish, or even toothpaste. I like using Perspex polish, the same that is used on the canopy of gliders. http://www.afeonline.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=29_64&products_id=593&osCsid=f3362a0b76f71db737936f50f70ba5c8

  • Re: BeoLab 8000 or BeoLab 9?

I'd recommend that when you have the opportunity, you place a film with surround sound in your player, and switch off your front and center speakers, to only listen to what comes out of the rear channels. Also have a look at the speaker arrays up on the walls of cinemas. If you could see the speakers behind the screen of a large movie theatre, you

Tom: That is right, designwise, the BL3 would match the BL9 perfectly, but also the BL3 would be wasted as rears IMO . If mounted at the right place, I could even imagine BL4 as rears, BL4000 being the best solution IMO. I have earlier stated the same: that the BL3s would be wasted as rears. And I have been using BL4000s. Then, because I have a pair

Should have added - you can connect the Transporter directly to the BL3s, and run the audio from your STB to either the optical or coax digital IN connections on the Transporter. Have a friend who's doing that, and who is very happy with his audio - no surround, but he is a strict two-channel stereo guy.

Borrow a pair from the dealer and try them out. I'd mount them on the white vertical columns on either side of your television, on the same level as the apple you've put in your illustration (nice touch!) - using the wall mounts. The dealer should also be able to let you borrow a BL2 and BeoCenter 2 at the same time. You have a large room, but

  • Re: BeoSound 6... the owners... and reviews

timhanna: Sorry, what i meant was the styling... how things are alum and black etc... they even copied the wheel that people refer to the ipod wheel... i dunno. I got an ipod and a mac, but something about apple is really annoying me. I think they need to be sued soon :) They get sued constantly, even MS/Windows tried that. BTW - there is a really nice

  • Re: Beo Lab 9 compatible with non B&O amps

The BL9s will make your Bose speakers sound like two buckets with strings attached. Have your dealer set them up next to your Bose speakers, and listen for yourself. Your Quad pre-amp will work nicely together with the BL9s, you'll need a Powerlink-to-RCA conversion cable, which your dealer can provide you with. Check that the pre-amp RCA signal
