I was always prefering the Mac Mini over the Apple TV. I want one remote and this is why I would not have done the Apple TV until now that it seems that B&O got the STB/PUC sorted out so that one can control it. I have an Imac fully controlled through IRED. When it powers on it launches IRED and goes into Front Row Right away so there is rarely

Question is, if it is stable enough for the 32". I agree though it looks good, would be expensive though considering that the motor would not be of any use. JK

Lot's of questions: For the kids room I would not use B&O. No way. They tend not to appreciate the 20K equipment. And I wouldn't even think about using a large LCD as a monitor. The resolution will not be enough. Note that Apple sells a 30" display, however you need a special graphic card with 2 outputs to deliver the signal. I don't

I am settling in on the BV8 as well I think. I looked at it this weekend. I don't care for tuner or surround, I watch mostly DVDs but have a hard time understanding speech and the BV8 has nice clarity through the integrated speaker. I don't care much for surround, mostly because if the cable issues for the rear speaker. Not worth the clutter

Thanks Kjeld, I think I am pretty much settled on adding a BV8 with BC2 to my living room. I send a note to the B&O customer service to confirm the Apple TV question for the Bv8, will post an update here once I hear from them. Cheers JK

I started a thread in the Mac section. It does work with BV7 and the STB version 5.02b. I am guessing that if you can get your STB version updated by your dealer to this level, it should work. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/89082.aspx Cheers JK

Hi, thanks. And the Beo4 reallly behaves the same as the Apple Remote? In regards to usability, there is no difference? Compared to Apple Remote you would not improved a thing? Thanks JK

1 or 2 users reported that they had success with the Apple TV and fast scrolling. I think with BV7 MK3, the BS 3 version. Does someone know the PUC/STB version name? I looked at BV8 today and it had only Ipod Dock and Apple remote. I am pretty sure that these 2 do not support the fast scrolling in Apple TV or Frontrow. Thanks JK

He mentioned the 7.1 option but I am not sure if I like that. I think I am settling on the BV8, I was surprised how good it looks. I think it's mostly because it matches the look of the BL3 so well. Is a lot of money as I would need the BC2 as well so I will be mulling it a bit.

It seems that the European BC2 MKII version has a little speaker that gives audible feedback when pushing a button. Does the current US version have that too? Also I know in the early model you had to double push buttons to perform functions which I believe in the European MK2 version was reworked. is that sorted for US as well? I believe the dealer
