MrT: Do you have information of all blind cable test ever made? Of course not, so you can´t say no 'blind cable test' has ever produced results which amount to 'evidence' of audible difference, and scientific measurement has reinforced this. What you can say is no 'blind cable test' that I know of has ever produced results

renevangelderen: Each time I start beoplayer it starts with the same song from the same category (folder/genre/artist). Does anyone know how to change this preferably to a random track in the My Music folder? Thanx, Rene Make sure you're running the latest version of BeoPort? I wouldn't worry massively - we all have some Celine Deon in our music libraries

iphone: This website has crossed the line. My comment was deleted because I discussed poor customer service at my local Bang and Olufsen shop. If this would have happened in any other country, I think we all know that it would not have been deleted. Beoworld should turn all moderating to Lee as he is the only one that is fair and balanced. These radical

Jandyt: Yeah, but don't forget, Alex that this is from the seventies! Quite innovative in it's time. To make four speakers from a stereo signal is an achievement. Off to Maplins next week to get about a mile of speaker cable! True, but IMO more of a novelty innovation than a truly useful innovation. It isn't quite 'four speakers' though, the

Jandyt: OK, short version! In real life, when listening to your orchestra and your wonderful tuba playing, I would hear the sound from your tuba but also the reflected sounds from the wall in the concert hall. Ambio takes the left and right signal away from each other and sends what's left to the side speakers, an early version of surround sound

I agree with Chris! You need a new home, either one of the larger variety or of the type full of men who have their clothes put on for them in the morning. RE the ambio system - I don't like it. I find the rear speakers often sound 'warbled' with digital sources, even CD. MP3s etc... are appalling and I don't find the rear speakers add much sonically

9 LEE: It's rolling - but nobody seems to be listening!! News article!
-
Been listening to Simply Red's Stars album this evening - my parents used to play it to me when I was younger, and I haven't heard it in years...
-
It should work fine - and yes you can control the Mac with the Beo 5 - it works very well I've heard! Connect via DVI, and use a digital audio feed if possible. I can see no reason why it won't work as beopaul has said, but I'll see if I can test such a setup out at some point. As far as wireless keyboards/mice go - have a look at Apple's offerings

MrT: Well, I do not want to start a cable debate. If you believe that science is 100% right then that´s the case for you. But there might be other people out there that thinks otherwise. So the secundary part of my post was only to say that everyone is entitled to their own opinion Of course, but you must also bear in mind that sound reproduction
