You also need a datalink cable and a fully wired (MKIII) powerlink cable between the beolink converter and the Beosystem 2500.

  • Re: BV7 Freeview upgrade

I upgrade mine and the picture is superbe with the tuner. Much better than with my sky box. Also it sends the picture in the correct format to link rooms. Note that the current Freeview tuner cannot receive HD channels. A new HD capable tuner will be available soon. So you might wait for that. p.

  • Re: Advice on beolink ?

I think the MKI is not available any longer, but the MKII is fully wired, the MKIII isn't.

I am not sure if you need a fully wired (MKII) or a thin one (MKIII). I have used a fully wired one, and would advise you to do the same. p.

  • Re: Advice on beolink ?

You need to connect Powerlink and Datalink (aux) between the Beolink and the BS2300. You can listen to the ipod without turning the TV Tube on by pressing AV before calling the video source. BS2300 in option 0 BC1 in option 2 Have you verified your BC1 has Masterlink? You will lose 2 way control if you have a Beolink 5000 or Beolink 7000 remote. p

  • Re: Beolink with multiple ML

You'd have to put the BC1 and the Beolink active in Option 5, not 6. The BC1 will react to Video command, the Beolink active to audio commands. You can't really transfer the TV or DVD sound from the BC1 to the Beolink active. However you could get the picture of the main room TV/DVD on the BC1 and the sound of the main room TV/DVD on the Beolink

  • Re: Beosound 5 specs

DVI does not transport sound, so you will have to connect the sound connection using a separate cable can configure it in the menu. Only HDMI has sound. I suggest now that you are a member that you run the PCG every time you connect something as it will tell you how to connect it the best. p.

  • Re: DRM are dead!

AAC is not a proprietary format at all, and the BM5/BS5 can perfectly read AAC... See the answer to the story you've posted. http://macdailynews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/19646/

  • Re: BeoVision 9 and BeoMaster 5 integration

BM5 has the same size as the BM1 exactly for this reason. p.
