True Graham, which was my original plan but the layout of the back of my estate enabled me to strap the Avant in on its back and strap it to the pull out parcel shelf which lessened the chance of damaging the screen. I'm sure the best way would be to transport one stood on its base in a van and secured to the sides. Chris.

I have no idea of your electronics expertise but I feel I need to add that working on a CRT TV can be highly dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. The tube can hold a lethal charge and must be discharged correctly before even thinking about starting work on one. Good luck with your TV though Chris.

No Craig, they don't come apart. I transported mine in the back of my estate car laid on its back & held in situ with bungee cords to stop it rolling around - and then drove very conservatively There are hand holds at the rear (2 holes at the same height as the lower screen edge) and 2 "indentations" just under each side of the screen

But I would clean off the 3 in 1 oil as it will soon start to thicken & pick up dust which will result in the problem returning, and instead use acid free sewing machine oil. I doubt very much if your dealer was offering you a MMC2 at £200 though - far more likely to be a

Jandyt: Without doubt! One of the best passive speakers ever made by B&O (according to an insider in Struer) I refoamed my own pair of S120s successfully on THIS THREAD . I would imagine the 150s would be a similar task. Andy T. A similar task Andy - but about 4 times the amount of work involved! The 10" subwoofers are monsters and are much

No soldering required, the screen is held in place by double sided adhesive foam tape. It should also come with a new zebra rubber strip which you should avoid handling with bare fingers. Chris.

Probably needs new belts which are available from member Dillen (Martin). Chris.
