Will it be possible to have the new DSM module installed in a BV7 MK3? Any idea when it will be launched?

I have emailed my dealer, a contact I have at B and O North America, as well as Beocare with no response yet from any of the three. Seems like they do not want to talk about it, whatever it is.

Yes I remember your answer but now it is showing up in 5.0. Thought perhaps there was more info available on it.

Anybody who has had 5.0 installed have any ideas about the new menu option of Adaptive Acoustic Technology? What exactly is it? Will it work with current BS3 etc?

I am not sure what kind of cable it is. It has a powerlink connector into the BV7. The powerlink connector then has two wires coming out of it each a few inches long with a single plug on the end. I think those are RCAs. Those two plugs then connect to two others that go into another wire about 10 feet long that runs to the Velodyne. At the end of that

We have a Velodyne sub connected to our BV7. In the settings it does appear that there are two subs. It works fine.

There is a new thread on this topic but thought I would post regarding it here also. The other thread mentions having 5.0 installed on a BS3 and the sound menus now having an option of "adaptive sound technology" although it is marked as disabled. Any info on this feature?

I was told by a couple of dealers several months ago that a new update would be available that would be similiar to the system on the Beolab 5s. I recently posted a question on this forum about it and somebody responded they thought it would be a hardware update. Perhaps it is a both a hardware and software issue which is why it says "disabled"
