Frank, Well, in that case the XML Generator will produce the correct XML file. Some of the Pronto Hex codes found on the remotecentral.com site are not always correct, so I suggest you post a couple of the HEX codes you found for this product and I will check them.

As with all infra-red remotes, the receiver has to see the signal, so if it is behind the AVANT it is unlikely to see the Beo5 signal. Given, that it is unlikely that you would wish to move the Virgin box from behind the AVANT, then you may wish to purchase a cheap infra-red extender, where you have a small IR transmitter in front of the Virgin box

Frank, I saw you updated your Pentax Camera XML file to the Beo5 web pages, thank you. With regards to your Pioneer DVD-Audio player XML not working, let me first ask what version of the Beo5 Configuration Tool you are using, 1.30 or 2.2 ?

As you have only justed purchased your Beo5 it may have the latest firmware loaded in it, so the first step is to determine which version of firmware you have loaded in your Beo5.
