She can use the AirPort express with a BeoVision - the STB controller software can now blast out the IR codes needed to operate the AirPort Express (they're labelled as Apple TV I believe, although all of Apple's products are cross-compatible).

9 LEE: What about Limewire Alex? Are there any nasties you could catch for a Mac on there? I've often wondered.. Lee Nope, not an issue. There are 'nasties' out there, but they're targeting VERY specific flaws which were patched years ago.

Bought Transformer on vinyl a month ago - excellent album. I have both Rumours and Wish You Were here on CD and vinyl - both in fantastic condition too. Right now I'm listening to the sound of my A level composition from Logic - finished the whole recording this evening and I just need to do a proper mixdown.

Do you really think a good soundcard would be necessary? After all, jitter isn't really an issue any more, in fact it hasn't been an issue with computer soundcards for a number of years.

A fantastic setup. The BeoSound 4 is my personal favourite player in the range, and the BeoLab 3s are among the best speakers B&O have made.

Yes - it should work fine. I don't have a CMM10 to test it with, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work...

I would look for BeoLab 4000s as rear speakers - BeoLab 4s would really start to sound pushed when you begin to turn the volume up past 'casual' listening levels, in movies and especially in surround sound music.

jk1002: Based on your description the Beosound 5 would not be a good 2 way remote. You mentioned it has the size of a magazine which in my opinion is too big to just have it lie on the table. When they announced the Beo 5, I was hoping it would be 2 way. If they turn it into a all around 1 way remote that can be used for other devices, that would be
