  • Re: Some mac help please?

She can use the AirPort express with a BeoVision - the STB controller software can now blast out the IR codes needed to operate the AirPort Express (they're labelled as Apple TV I believe, although all of Apple's products are cross-compatible).

  • Re: AV 7000.....V.AUX question

PL212: Actually, the answer is no. The V-AUX port is only if you using an NTSC MX5x00 television. You learn something new every day - thankyou...

  • Re: Antivirus for Mac

9 LEE: What about Limewire Alex? Are there any nasties you could catch for a Mac on there? I've often wondered.. Lee Nope, not an issue. There are 'nasties' out there, but they're targeting VERY specific flaws which were patched years ago.

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Bought Transformer on vinyl a month ago - excellent album. I have both Rumours and Wish You Were here on CD and vinyl - both in fantastic condition too. Right now I'm listening to the sound of my A level composition from Logic - finished the whole recording this evening and I just need to do a proper mixdown.

  • Re: Will this be absolute high end ...

Do you really think a good soundcard would be necessary? After all, jitter isn't really an issue any more, in fact it hasn't been an issue with computer soundcards for a number of years.

  • Re: Beosound 4 and beolab 3 opinions

A fantastic setup. The BeoSound 4 is my personal favourite player in the range, and the BeoLab 3s are among the best speakers B&O have made.

  • Re: AV 7000.....V.AUX question

Yes - it should work fine. I don't have a CMM10 to test it with, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work...

  • Re: How is Beolab 4 as rear-speakers in a surround-setup?

I would look for BeoLab 4000s as rear speakers - BeoLab 4s would really start to sound pushed when you begin to turn the volume up past 'casual' listening levels, in movies and especially in surround sound music.

  • Re: THE RESULTS !!!

Congrats to Keith, Soundproof and Andy! Sorry I couldn't be here last night to see the announcement - I was doing a recording until late in the evening. Fully deserved awards methinks

  • Re: Beo 5 or Logitech Harmony?

jk1002: Based on your description the Beosound 5 would not be a good 2 way remote. You mentioned it has the size of a magazine which in my opinion is too big to just have it lie on the table. When they announced the Beo 5, I was hoping it would be 2 way. If they turn it into a all around 1 way remote that can be used for other devices, that would be
