Yes, the TX uses a metal ruler. But everything is fine there...the sensor and the LED work fine. And as the BG stops and plays the record the problem can't be there, can it? As all connections are ok the problem has to be somewhere on the main PCB; most likely around TR35. So I checked all parts mentioned in the service flowchart (D45-46-47-48-49

Hi all, I need some help again. I recently acquired a mint condition Beogram TX. The owner said it worked flawlessly and has been serviced some years ago. And yes, it works flawlessly. Except for the automatic speed control (obviously the average user doesn't care about that). Which means, if I play a Single, the Beogram will sense the record and

Hi all, I'm looking for a Beogram TX (or a 6002, but I would prefer the black TX). Any condition, with or without pickup. Anyone? EDIT: Found one.

So here's a small photo story of how to refit a BG 1700 cover (sorry for the bad quality): First of all, assemble the parts as shown in the photo - thats the easy part. Now attach the middle holder, but don't tighten the screw completely (but almost completely). Then force the left end of the spring back into his channel (or however you call

Hi all, I'm looking for a Beolab 1700, or even better, the whole system (Beolab 1700 + Beomaster 1700 Tuner+ Beocord 1700). Can't really explain why; I just like the design and I decided to get a new system. That one looks quite cool to me in that stack unit manner. And as it is somewhat a modified 1100 it shouldn't sound that bad either

Isn't there only one position anyway? However, I happen to have a disassembled one lying around somewhere (still trying to polish out some scratches). Can take some photos tomorrow if that helps you.

Well, I guess you will have some problems then. The thing is that this part doesn't exist. I had three 1800s and none of these had that part. It is not in the service manual as well. Obviously the 1800 doesn't need it due to another mechanism. By the way, this is about my 1800, isn't it? So you still have the same problem I had? I also had

One of the reasons why I love Beoworld is the kind support from all members: The Beomaster is alive again! Richard was kind enough to supply me the missing slider and even a new transistor (after I killed one due to a little mishap with a amperemeter ) and now it works and looks like new. Many, many thanks again!
