The circuit you show above is indeed the clock advancing the micro but the signal is derived from the main processor oscillator, which is derived from the crystal / processor. If there is no activity at the crystal (and assuming there is nothing heavily loading this part, even like a solder bridge or other short etc.), the supply is ok and the reset

This little board is an official b&o mod designed to reduce the burden of the CPU needed to read the frequency pulses from the radio section, it has nothing to do with the processor clock. You should be able to see a clock signal on the pins Mika suggests above, if not, I am afraid it is more than likely your processor has failed.

What exactly are you after? It was only the 6000 and some later tangentials that had phono preamps. The 4000 never had that option.

Hmm that is not really what you wanted to see. I would expect to see closer to 5v but I really don't think 4.9v would be problematic, Where did you place the meter negative? The fact reset is high, means that the processor should be running ok, at this point try shorting test points and see if pin 39 drops to zero volts (not that it makes a great

It is always a heart stopping moment when this happens. Don't worry yet though... Could be that pesky potentionmeter in the bottom right hand corner of the processor board pictured above. This controls an overally complex reset circuit. Check the voltage on the reset pin (39) of the processor and make sure it is high (+5v).

There is an adjustment that is part of the assembly that you repaired, in the form of a large worm screw that locks a toothed gear in place. This adjusts the lid and hence one of the detector switches. It is possible your repair rendered the mechanism on the edge of success, so to speak, and things have slightly altered and bedded in etc. Try adjusting

No reason to think the transformer has failed Soren, everything looks about right. You need to check the components associated with regulation in the standby supply.
