MKE: Now i have followed your advises and the tv has'nt crashed - yet! And will not hopefully... But what about the blue-ray problems? This is a big problem to, in my openion. Not funny to have a brand new - end expensive - tv, and not be able to play the best possible movies. Another question: Where do I find information regarding SW for B&O

Razlaw: I was told by a couple of dealers several months ago that a new update would be available that would be similiar to the system on the Beolab 5s. I recently posted a question on this forum about it and somebody responded they thought it would be a hardware update. Perhaps it is a both a hardware and software issue which is why it says "disabled"

Tom: I had my Beo5 reconfigured and updated several times (when I changed something to my setup) and my dealer never charged anything. Neither did my dealer, but since i am a programmer by trade, i decided it was time to get the tool after the 10'th time of going to the dealer :) Fortunatelly my dealer agreed :) /weebyx

seanklemis: ahhhhhh i dont know if i shoudl update to 5.0 now or just wait a little longer for the next fix, i have 4.24a but under warenttee they will fix the probelsm i have having with the crash to off problem but i cannot help wonder if 5.1 will fix the issues in 5.0 but what issues will that bring. Will we ever get a stable softwear version, opinions

MKE: I have a new BV 9. Had all the same problems with SW 4.24. The TV crashes (turns off) and the Blue-Ray films played on PS3, jumps as described earlier in this thread. Now the TV software has been upgraded, SW 5, but i still have the same problems. Nothings changed. So for how long shall I wait??? B&O has a major problem here. It's just

beoandy: Hi! Why are the3rd party codes only useable with Beo5 soft keys? Beo5 software 1.34. ConfigurationVersion is 1.30. beoandy I have no problems using the hardkeys. Just select properties and 3PartyIR tab, and select the action you would like. One thing though, it seems that the action HAS to be available as a softkey for the tab page to include
