So where the RL stands with a single cylindrical upright, as opposed to the two squared off uprights for a different speaker (i.e. not 60's) then?

And it never seems to pick up 7.1 what ever the output to it is! Anyone else had this issue?

Hi all, Due to an Avant's tube starting to go I'm potentially on the look out for a BV5 to replace it. I've not seen one up close for a while but think its what I'm looking for, needs STB and a 4/5 port Dolby card as opposed to a 2/3 Dolby one, can anyone confirm that for me? Would prefer a later HD one (of course!) but would be happy

CX on a Passive amp do work quiet well as surround speakers, just make sure you use Mark 2 cables as the Mark 3's tend to make them Pop!

I was very lucky to win 3rd Prize in this months Beoworld draw. Don't forget to upgrade to be included! But, as I currently have no need for a DVD2 I'd rather it went to someone that needs / wants one. Having had one before I know what excellent machines these are and as you would expect, coming from LifeStyle AV this is in almost Mint condition

I guess the main difference I have been shown (thank you to a certain Mr T. J.) is that the older speakers MS150 on the back of various beomasters have a more 'rounded' sound compared to newer passives and this only seems to be that the midrange of older passives is more designed / engineered than the newer ones. Mind you I just like to turn

Much better just need a resrayed BL2 now.... :-)
