so as i understand what you're saying the only time i'd realize the effects of the spdif are when i'm using the BM5 as 'PC'? if i use the beosound 5 to select my music the spdif is bypassed and all the information travels over the ML network?

So the SPDIF is converted back to analog for the PL? then what's the point?

BL 5s are connected to the BSYS3 with PL The BM5 is connected via ML only in to the ML network (I have temporarily connected the SPDIF from the BM5 in to my lab 5s . . .I can't tell any difference) The BS9k is connected via ML only in to the ML network I did notice that the BM5 (when distributed) is giving the same indications (the left channel

Mates, I've got 5s connected to a sys3. When playing the bm5 music the left channel is 3 times the volume of the right. However, when playing the cd the volume is the same? I assume an ml issue? Also, I've connected the spdif from the bm5 directly to the 5s... Same result... How exactly should I connect the spdif?

Mates... I have a good friend with a pair of lab 9s. They worked perfectly for about one month. After that, they have a yellow light when signal is sent to them. Thy were recently sent to the shop for a complete rework of the insides. Now, as soon as plugged backed in to the signal... Same problem as before... Any ideas?? MJM

The setup with RA2 is very simple. . You simply connect the main repeater to the MLGW. . .i think the new software in the MLGW will recognize commands from the RA system. I have the older MLGW software so I actually had to write my own commands. . However, I have RA2 Keypads for "CD,iTunes, Forward, Back" and the Fade buttons control volume
